Boxwell Summer Camp 2012: Our troop will attend summer camp this year from July 1st through July 7th. The cost is $195.00 for the week (if you pay an advance deposit). Depending on the class selections for your scout, there might also be a small course fee for supplies. The final balance is due June 12, 2012.
Smyrna Outing Camping Expenses: The final cost for theSmyrna camping outing is $8.00 per person. This amount includes food for the weekend. This debt has been posted to the Scout Accounts. The deadline has now passed to turn in any food receipts. I have issued a credit to the Scout Accounts to those who provided me with an expense receipt.
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser: Our scouts earned 50% of their ticket sales in addition to 100% of any funds directly donated to individual boys. If you worked during the breakfast, the profit for working was $10.00 per scout. (This amount is down from $30.00 per scout from 2011. Please keep in mind, we only pre-sold about 1/3 of the amount of the tickets from last year.) The troop account earned $50.00 in fundraiser profit.
James Woods Eagle Scout Court of Honor: All current and past scout members and family are invited to attend James’ Eagle Scout Ceremony on Saturday, June 23, 2012. This event will take place from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at the Wilderness Station atBarfieldPark. Dinner will be served. Please save the date on your calendar. Everyone is welcome.
June 5, 2012 Meeting: It is unlikely that I will be able to attend our scout meeting next Tuesday. If you have any paperwork or payments to give me, please keep them until the following meeting on June 12th.
Negative Scout Account Balances: If your Scout Account balance is negative, please bring a check or cash to our next meeting.
